Dr. Robert E. Purcell, Jr

Dr. Robert E. Purcell, Jr. graduated from New York Medical College and completed his medical residency at Danbury Hospital, Danbury, CT. He completed his gastroenterology fellowship at Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport, CT. Dr. Purcell moved to Northcentral Pennsylvania in1986 and joined Susquehanna Gastroenterology at that time.

He is a diplomat of the American Board of Gastroenterology and serves as the treasurer of Lycoming County Medical Society. He is a member of the American Medical Association, Christian Medical and Dental Association, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Pennsylvania Medical Society.

He resides in the Williamsport area with his wife, Christine.

Dr. John T. Burns

Dr. John T. Burns graduated from Oral Roberts University School of Medicine and completed his medical residency training at Geisinger Medical Center specializing in pediatric internal medicine. He completed both his adult and pediatric gastroenterology fellowships at Scott and White Hospital at Texas A&M University.

Dr. Burns moved to Northcentral Pennsylvania and joined Susquehanna Gastroenterology in 1997. He is certified in both adult and pediatric gastroenterology through the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics, respectively. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Academy of Pediatrics, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the North American Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.

He resides in the Williamsport area with his family.

Judith A. Snell, PA-C

Judy is a native to the area. Recieved BS in Physician Assistant studies from Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2001. Joined Suquehanna Gastroenterology in 2003 and practiced as PA previously in Asheboro, NC.

Resides in Loyalsock with husband, Greg.

Lauren E. Fabian, PA-C

Lauren Fabian is a native of the Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania area, is a nationally certified physician assistant.  She received her Masters of Physician Assistant from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA. 

Prior to working in Gastroenterology she worked in both the Family Practice and Neurosurgery fields.  She is a member of the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants.
